Covid-19 changed the way of life for everyone around the world. In August 2020 I should have been in London, on tour with other intrepid patchworkers. Numerous overseas tours were also planned for 2020, and even 2021. But we had to stay home. Life was not exactly going to plan…

However, we live in “The Lucky Country”, and for that I am grateful. I stayed home and used my unexpected time at home, and my stash of fabrics, to create eight scrappy quilt projects. Quilts, cushions, a table runner, tote bag and even a scarf! Then, when travel within Australia was allowed again, took these projects on road trips to photograph them around our beautiful country.

I hope you enjoy the images of Australia, and the projects designed to help you use your cupboards full of fabric. Life handed me a lemon of a year in 2020, but it turned out sweeter in the end. Enjoy the lemonade! Bottoms up!
