Magic Strips of April March 26, 2024 14:30
I (Debbie Gordon) have created our Magic Strips for March, I've been working on some darker more masculine quilts and colourways of late, and this is reflected in my Magic Strips. I've been interviewed by Amanda to find out what makes me quilt...Patchwork Coats are back March 26, 2024 14:30
Mmm... initially I thought "NO, surely not a return to the mud coloured log cabin patchwork clothes of the 60's & 70's, some fashions should not EVER be repeated! Especially if it matches the colours of your house... mission brown... forest green... poop yellow!
But No... the amazing designers of the 2020's are forging a revival under the banner of Sustainable Clothing.
You need:
1. A Pattern (the simpler the better)
2. An Idea (Pintrest will give you a start)
3. Great Advice (Join me (Debbie) on Tuesday's 5-8pm or Saturday's 2-5pm and make your own unique coat)

We have the Patchwork Jacket Workshop on every Friday in May 9:30-12:30 if your keen, we will Patch, Chop, Quilt, Sew & Bind ourselves a Jacket.
Bookings are essential with the cost of the first class paid to secure your booking. Classes are only $35 for a 3 hour session
